Project 1 / Go Somewhere, Do Something

‘Go Somewhere, Do Something’ is my self-initiation into the world of coding. The aim was to explore different UIs. Being completely new to html, I felt like I had to just go somewhere (into the coding world) and do something (anything really) and it would be a learning experience.

Project 2 / Shake the World

We seem to wait for change, too scared to take that huge leap of faith and stand up for what is right, question the norms and go against the grain. So we wait… looking for that one hero to come save us all. The task is huge and our hero has to be big, bold and aggressive! But we need to realize that we don't have to wait for that hero. We can change the world with our thoughts and actions, right here, right now.

Project 3 / Rock the Boat

With the Mayan Apocalypse drawing near, we have at some point imagined what the end would be like- drawing mental images of comets, sun flares, nuclear war or alien invasions. But Lu Zhenghai of China went a step ahead. He sought inspiration from Noah and decided to build is own Ark (2012 edition). Whether or not he intends to save the Pandas is still not clear. But what would happened if he did do as Noah did all those Biblical years ago? Would the living arrangements go as planned? What if things got a little shaky, a little random?

Final Project / Survey Stress Infographic

Semester after semester the impending doom of 'Survey Day' causes the students at Pratt mental emotional and sometimes even physical discomfort that escalates at a steady and rapid pace. This infographic is a visual depiction of the most common stress related words tweeted by Pratt students from September 2012 (the start of the Fall semester) till Survey Day.
