Project 1 / blueMorpho

Blue Morpho butterflies are known for its beautiful perky blue color. To have its signature color, however, they have to endure about 100 days as a caterpillar and cocoon. Only about 15 days are allowed for them to live as a butterfly. That might be why their shimmering blue color glitters like candlelight which most brightly glows just before it goes off. I wanted to express the shining moment that a butterfly is emerging from its cocoon after a long period of endurance.

Project 2 / Google

Google is the most simple and easy search engine for the web. I wanted to visualize what google does in a flood of information, which is untangling and rearranging.

Project 3 / Hexagonal Movement

A hexagon is made of 6 straight lines in 2D. Sometimes, however, it might look like a cube depending how they are positioned. Due to its own potential to be both 2D and 3D, this hexagonal random movement give you some sort of optical illusion. Hopefully, you will find some order out of this disorder.

Final Project / Flyaway

This is a part of my Blue Morpho Butterfly series. I found their vibrant blue color and its such temporariness very inspirational. Because of their short lifespan as a butterfly, their lucid color doesn't seem holdable, even though it is so tempting and eye-catching that you want to keep it.
