Project 1 / QR Code-motions

The QR Code is used to scan and download information about a product or service instantaneously with a smart phone. Along with that, an emotional reaction would be shown from that result. Some people express happiness as the product they desire to purchase has had great reviews while others may be sad or just plain old indifferent. Utilizing the cube which the QR Code is built from a sequence of emotions are illustrated.

Project 2 / 26.2 miles of NYC

The first New York City Marathon was held in 1970, organized by New York Road Runners Club presidents Fred Lebow and Vincent Chiappetta. Today, over 40,000 runners take on the 26.2 mile challenge. These are some of the inspiring words that kept me going on my two journeys through the 5 boroughs of the greatest city in the world and to the finish line in the infamous Central Park.

Final Project / Dirty snowball transformations

Comet nuclei (aka, dirty snowballs) are known to range from about 100 meters to more than 40 km across. They are composed of rock, dust, water ice, and frozen gases such as carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, methane and ammonia. Because of their low mass, comet nuclei do not become spherical under their own gravity, and thus have irregular shapes. In this sequence, these comets shoot around, across, in and out showcasing their ability to surpass time. On the final frame you are able to click on a comet and watch a variety of transformations.
