The concept of this piece involves positing the user as the creative designer. The user is given the opportunity to choose from a number of tools that are available in Photoshop to edit the creative landscape, or on more technical terms, the art-board, which for this project is a solar system with one planet, a sun and three moons. In doing so, I am bridging the gap between user and designer, two perspectives that are often thought of as disparate in the realm of the internet (for example in the cascading style sheet hierarchy). While this aspect of the project is intellectual, I also aim to providing some lighthearted amusement, such as when one of the tools -- the magnifying glass -- ironically reveals a familiar cultural character rather than simply zooming in as the photoshop tool customarily does, as a designer might expect.
