This project is about the absurdity of the side effects mentioned in the black box warnings for medications, and the ironic truth that these strange side effects are found in the tested population in placebo based studies.  The simplicity and colorlessness of the black box warning gives readers a sense of safety and comfort.  By transforming the black box warning into an animation with color, particularly red -- a color of danger, I have created a juxtaposition and dichotomy.  The intent of this piece is to alter the connotations of the black box warning in the viewer's mind, but in a light-handed manner -- through the use of playful and familiar graphics.
